Of course.. but he's been in the ring with Canelo and felt his strength.. 3 years later he's seen how much Canelo has improved as a fighter, and he's stated GGG is straight up and down, no special effects.. And I think the Brook fight answered alot of questions about GGG. He's beatable, that's what we know now, and Canelo can beat him, despite probably being the underdog going into the fight.

But that's to be expected when you have a knockout puncher like GGG. Canelo as the underdog is a great bet. Wouldn't you agree?

Canelo is a very skilled counter puncher who will cause GGG problems for the first half of the fight imo but Golovkin's relentlessness will have Canelo blowing by the halfway mark imo.

Plus whilst Canelo is very strong physically he isn't a concussive puncher and whilst he may sting Golovkin I cannot see him making a real dent.

Also I do think Golovkin fights to the perceived threat of his opponents, in the run up to the Brook fight he made it clear he was going to mug Brook and let's be honest that's exactly what happened. For instance I don't think for one second he'd fight like that against Canelo.

I don't think Canelo should be forced to move up to fight Golovkin, just as Golovkin shouldn't of been made to move up for Ward. 155lbs is a bull**** catchweight aswell.
