Tbf, going quiet is often a sign actual negotiations are taking place so we'll see.

Although the 160 division is totally dead and absent of even ONE (1) A-level elite fighter, I have to give props to Jacob, more for his defeat of bone cancer.

To continue boxing with such a serious medical impediment is, I believe, amazing.

Boxing is a sport that requires your all physically, and for Jacob to rebound from Cancer and succeed at the b-level 160 division is an amazing accomplishment.
His career could have gone like Allan Green's, who continued boxing after a major surgery that removed 60% of his intestines. After that, every time I saw Green take a body shot (As example, against Kessler), I cringed, knowing how vulnerable his gut is following such major medical procedure. To continue boxing, Green must really love the sport.

Had Jacob not been inconvenienced by cancer, his skill level might have been honed to the A-level.

    I agree with this.
