Has he retired or something!? Things seem very quiet at the moment for James

Needs to ditch Uncle Al and come back to UK where Eddie can make big things happen for him.

No one can escape al haymon, plus pbc is coming to the uk, and al has plenty of top tier fighters free to finally end the ppv farce that hearn is conning the dumb sheep public with, degale selby Frampton on free to air tv, plus Eubanks......and haymon could possibly use the Eubanks as promoters of the shows, as haymon uses virtually unknown promoters in the USA to promote his shows

    100%.

I bet Smith gets the Badou Jack fight before DeGale

That may not be such a bad thing, as long as defenses against DeGale or Groves are made quickly in the case Smith wins, after say one (inevitable) mandatory defense.

Perhaps losing sh1t loads of money is not such a good business model.

I really rate DeGale as a fighter and I like him as a person, he is nothing like you see in interviews if you speak to him away from the microphones and cameras, a real family man and a genuinely nice person.

But In my humble opinion DeGale should have stayed with Hearn, he would be fighting regularly and earning a lot of money (provided he kept winning).

Jack, Groves II and Callum Smith are the only fights worth having at 168 now. Ramirez is a good fight but not a big money fight even though it would be a unification fight.

I think Golovkin might have been a real possibility if DeGale stayed with Hearn and that would have been huge money.

Instead he is still waiting for the Jack fight to be ironed out and still sitting around doing nothing while Joshua, Brook and quite a few others are active and fresh in the British boxing fans minds.

I used update myself rgulary with information regarding the investment side of pbc through waddel and reed but havnt looked for a while now...saying that there must be some light at the end of the tunnel otherwise you would of expected the investors to of pulled the plug by now
