Funny how all the talk is about PPV, did Canelo do any PPV before MAY fight? I don't think so...if yes, what did he do....this should be the BAR that needs to be set not after he fought MAY and made a name because of Floyd. GGG team just sent a counter offer of 60-40 in favor of Canelo...think it's fair...take it for the fans!

How many PPV fights was JMM involved in that had 500k+ views? A ton. Why? Cause he's Mexican.

I comparing the attendance numbers of their fights at the cowboy stadium. Canelo broke Pac's records, so that points to his popularity being equal or even more than Pac in his heyday.

I am suprised Pac vs bradley 3 did over 200,000 buys tbh it was the same **** and no one wanted to even see the rematch and we got a 3rd fight so ofcourse the ppv numbers would be bad.

Its like Mayweather fighting berto 2 more times can you imagine what the ppv numbers would be?

Mayweather and Pac at their peak drawing power averaged 1 mill buys Pac has about 9 ppvs which hit over 1 mill buys

Canelo needs cotto or mayweather to break 1 mill

No offense bro but your ****ing crazy if you think Canelo-GGG gets anywhere near 2mil, 1mil PPVs is a stretch and realistically be impressive if it did that.
Your #'s just suggested Canelo nor GGG is as big as Manny and Floyd were/are, so why in your right mind do you think Canelo-Golovkin is going to be this SUPER huge PPV?

Not surprised. I figured it would be around his normal average which is around 300k.

The hell does this have to do with GGG deserving more than an 8 figure payday?

    I predicted the same.
Based off these numbers, GGG deserves at least 30 percent split.

This GGG fans can hate it all they want, Canelo is still raking in more PPV buys than GGG. And Lemieux was more known than Domestic smith.

I completely agree, it's not really a mega fight, it's a big fight and one many people want to see but it's not MayPac money or figures.

Personally given a choice of Kovalev Vs Ward or Canelo Vs Golovkin I think I'd prefer to watch Kovalev Vs Ward.

Both unbeaten and there is so much riding on it in terms of P4P claims and even legacy.

Canelo has been beaten and to be honest he was humiliated by Mayweather so we've seen Canelo get his backside handed to him.
