The numbers being quoted are nowhere near what Canelo Fan Boys were expecting so now it's "How much did the PPV make"

The networks get half the money. HBO gets 7.5%. Average buy is $65. So lets assume 300k buys at @65= 19.5 million
Divide that by 2 = 9.75 million. After HBO's cut, take out expenses for the PPV, that doesnt leave much left.

By way of comparison, Pacquaio vs Hatton did 920k buys. PPV only sells in big fights.
