Actually wrote to the British Boxing Comission after the Khan knockout, which was frightening. My concern was about Brook. They actually wrote back to me.
Welterweights wear 8oz gloves? They should tighten the rules a bit.. even 12 rounds is too much.. sometimes you put a 12 round performance in a 7 round fight.. like a prolonged beating..
Khan was 6-0 and then KO.. 147 Khan KOs Canelo.. but 155 Canelo KOs Khan after 6-0 albeit.. It's barxing sure..
Sad to hear. It's amazing how a few big punches took this mans life. And to think of the journeymen that have been KOd a dozen times but this fellow died in his first loss. RIP
On another site his partner claimed he was suffering from really bad headaches which prevented him from sparring leading up to the fight, why did his team allow him to fight knowing this. RIP Mike, my thoughts and prayers are extended to him and his whole family and friends at this sad time.
