There's a lot of drama and facts between what the media saw and Corrales' actual life. He had not fought for a longtime and he you know... beat his ****ing wife and was gonna go to jail? Yar? His wife was gonna divorce him and he had no cash. He need money for lawyers and he had no revenue. He was in no shape to fight and he was basically rock bottom. Fluid egged him to fight by airing Corrales' personal rock bottom life in the media, blasting him for being a wife beater. That's ironic considering Fluid would later be a wife beater himself lol.

His previous fight was only three months earlier, when he mutilated Angel Manfredy...at 130lbs. That's hardly a long time.

He had two previous fights at 130 in 2000- at 130lbs, stopping Jukko and Gainer. So his personal life was not so abortive as to prevent him from being in good form going into the fight with Mayweather. And, since he made weight at 130lb on two subsequent occasions against Casamayor, the weight issues weren't so grievous as to require an immediate move up to a higher weight.

The way Mayweather applied himself to his craft day in and day out, despite his injuries, he didn't just dare, he IS great.

Why did he miss weight on the scale by two lbs then?

Actually pleasantly surprised that at large, you're posting with less fanboyism and agenda. Keep it up.

I only watched 3 rounds of that fight, I'm not qualified to discuss that. What did you think and why?

'Truth or Dare' with Mayweather. Mayweather selects 'Dare'. You say: DARE TO BE GREAT. Mayweather ducks and says 'Truth'. You say: Why didn't you dare to be great?
    Mayweather takes a loss.
