Mosley, even past his prime, just on another level. But the first 3-4 rounds would of been interesting. Perhaps Berto even wobbling Mosley with a massive uppercut, which was Berto's bread and butter, would of been the best case scenario for Berto. But Berto was never a smart fighter, he always wanted to overpower his opponents or knock them out with one punch. Mosley's body punching, iron jaw, and bigger firepower would of stopped Berto eventually.
Berto is too sloppy and is there to be hit. Mosley would not have had to find him and with his superior chin he can take what Bertos got and pour on the pain. Berto doesn't go the full 12.
No, but I think, or I know he was under contract to produce a urine. Simple, how far some of you clowns take rumors is astounding
What the hell are you talking about? Rumors? Floyd received 750 ml of IV fluids which was a clear violation of WADA code, which the drug testing agencies adhere to. Then he was saved by USADA and the NSAC.
I always thought berto ****ed up by not taking this Never liked berto but mosley isn't a fighter who comes after guys like Ortiz does If berto fought carefully he wouldn't give mosley many openings and might be able to outlast him I just can't point to an example of him going 12 very disciplined rounds
Ah, I got ya now. That could very well be true, the step aside. But the narrative would have been much better had Mosley gone through Berto first, then got Floyd. Probably would have been better overall for marketing the PPV if that path had been chosen back then.
Huh? What is this supposed to even mean as it pertains to the thread topic? Off topic, I have been critical of the whole IV thing with Floyd. The guy was drinking water at the weigh in. He was rehydrating just fine during that time, so I don't believe the excuse of an emergency need for the IV.
Floyd needed a credible opponent quick...didn't have time to wait for him to fight berto then go through another camp
Berto only has raw talent on which Mosley is still superior. Berto doesn't brings anything that Mosley didn't saw earlier in his career. Sugar Shane by KO.
