    Probably Mike Tyson.
    But then again, apart from Ali, he probably has the most "fans" of any type, and they're not all oblivious to his flaws and limitations.

    Ali...could do no wrong...the perfect fighter...could have beaten anyone in heavyweight history...you know...according to his fans...he was unbeatable....but we know better!!!

    Ali. He has the most fans and is regarded as almost being unbeatable. In reality, he had plenty of shortcomings. Namely, he had poor defense against left hooks and didn't body punch effectively even in his prime. He also devolved into a boring fighter who clinched excessively as the 70s wore on, often doing barely enough to win, which is largely overlooked. His fame rubbed off his own opponents and elevated their status although I have doubts that they were better than the early 80s crop as a whole. It's hard to say with real certainty if he'd beat beat Tyson, Louis, Frazier (vs pre-exile Ali), Lewis, Holmes, Vitali, etc. or even an "on" Liston or Holyfield, but he's given the benefit of the doubt in any one matchup. Odds are, if he had to fight all of them consecutively he'd take several loses.

    A couple on this site have him beating everyone, before or since.

    Ali. who professed to be "The Greatest", based on Gorgeous George The Wrestler shill. What started out as a Marketing ploy, which Ali "winked-winked" as it was played out to the public, overlooked the dark side that existed throughout his career.
