Joshua around round 5/6 KO. We prob haven't seen anywhere near the best of Joshua. He hasn't needed to.
This is a very hard fight to predict, because everything depends on whether Wlad still has it or not. My feeling is that Wlad is shot, although I hope not, which makes me predict AJ by late KO.
I'm favouring Joshua to KO Wlad. But I have my doubts. Not sure how AJ will deal with Wlad's clinching and he definitely has a punchers chance, I could see AJ dropping that right hand when he loads up and getting caught with a hard left hook. But Wlad is old, he isn't even the same fighter that beat Pulev 2 years ago, his jab is inconsistent, he can't pull the trigger and he has an opponent that is one of the few he's faced that can match him physically.
Excellent point, Wlad isn't a quick starter, he picks them apart, wears them down then takes them out when they are ready to go, not the type to just seek and destroy. Joshua will be the one pushing the pace and being the aggressor, Wlad will be the one trying to slow the pace down and smothering Joshua's work when he can, waiting for the right time to try and take him out.
The fight isn't made, all the rumours are nothing more than a PR excersise, and Hearn trying to put the pressure on Wlad to sign. No way Haye would announce it if the fight was really done, he wouldn't want to upset Hearn and AJ. Hearn/AJ are probably behind that tweet. Wlad has 0 chance of beating Joshua and he knows it, no way he agrees to fight him.
One thing about the Pulev fight that struck me for the first time in a long time is that Klitschko did look relatively easy to hit. He even seemed to hurt Klitschko with his jab a couple of times- and Pulev is a relatively modest puncher by top Heavyweight standards. If a puncher like Joshua finds you an easy target then it could spell real trouble. Other factors why I'm leaning towards Joshua is in a hot bed like the UK, will the referee feel as incline to allow Klitschko to bend the rules like he often got away with in Germany- particularly once the crowd get on his back. He seemed to struggle with Jennings because of a fair ref. And one thing that has always been in the back of my mind about Klitschko is was he ever really all that, even in his prime or is it just a **** poor era? His best wins have been over guys he's had a decent size advantage over- and the guys he's fought who are of similar size have been pretty shoddy, with the exception of Tyson Fury. And Joshua also matches him for size.
Well we know if the fight doesn't happen then Joshua and Hearn will be the once most people jump into accuse, but it does seem from the outside looking in they are the side who want this more.
I think people are underestimating Joshua or overestimating how good Wlad is at this point. Wlad's handspeed and reflexes are completely gone. I see the 13 yr younger man beating him to the punch and forcing the stoppage.
But surely you remember the rich history you've told us about regarding K2 and Hearn. They even conspired to screw over the Eubanks and make them look bad so they could make Golovkin-Brook since GGG was afraid of Eubank, according to you. They'd be on the same page now for this fight. I'd hate for your story to develop a plot hole now. I could mention how peculiar it is another username routinely implies that K2 fighters are terrified of Brits despite how nonsensical the stories behind jt, but I think everyone else can connect the dots here.
I never said GGG was scared of Eubank, just that they took the easier option in Brook. Why would that have anything to do with Joshua-Wlad? Not sure what story you're referring to, I just don't believe Wlad wants the fight, happy to be proved wrong.
