Hatton CAN'T make changes dude, he can't. He was almost KO'D again with the same punch that caught him last time. I don't expect Paulie "my hair was giving me problems" Malignaggi to hurt him but I think the next guy with power is gonna hurt worser than Lazcano did.

 Hey i'm not saying Juan was about to win the fight cause he was destroying Hatton or anything, but Hatton knew he was hurt and noticed the perfect oppertunity to get a longer rest. Hatton got caught with a VERY hard shot that hurt him badly.

True the top level guys would of knocked hatton out tonight.his punch resistance has gone,i still think he beats malinaggi but the big hitters like urango, torres he needs to stay well clear of .And i am a big hatton fan .

Very badly hurt? **** off. Only in the mind of someone desperate for Hatton to lose was he very badly hurt. He never came close to touching the canvas.

And btw the shoelace situation, what was hatton supposed to do? **** Paulie Malinaggi had two opportunitys to get his ****ing HAIR sorted in the previous fight, where are all the threads for that? A shoelace coming undone is not evidence of corruption. The referee was not bailing Hatton out, he'd already stopped the fight before Hatton pointed out the shoe was undone.

Anyway, Hatton got hurt in the 9th and 10th, although not seriously hurt. I dont think he was in any danger of being KO'd, except in the mind of the rampant haters who sit there nursing erections every time the thought of ripping into Hatton occurs in their twisted little minds.

    Under the belt!

Nah, I dunno for sure that it was under the belt but Hatton did look to recieve many low blows tonight, including the moment you are talking about.

Yep I agree. And I figured Hatton would have at least prepared to defend better the exact punch that knocked him out. I guess he didn't:lol:

urango? Are you ****ing kidding? Hatton completely and utterly outboxed Urango, it was barely even competitive. Urango looked like plodding amatuer who couldn't throw a single combination. And your picking him to beat Hatton?

Get a grip lad, Urango cant box to save his life.

To be honest both guys looked like they were bending the rules just a little bit. I would say they both deserved the warnings they got. It did look a little rough in there. Notice Hatton had his British referee and he was still getting a few warnings. He was still allowed to wrestle a little bit but still got warned a few times. So I don't think Joe Cortez should be under the light anymore.

Do you think Hatton was clinching more often than Juan?

Honestly I saw them both holding often when they hurt each other. If anything I was suprised Hatton did a little less holding today. Hit n hold didn't seem to be Hatton's only game plan tonight like it was against Floyd, Tzsyu, and many other fights.

No room for improvement for Hatton ... he's going to keep fighting the same way ... i'm sure adjustments don't come after a loss - fighting a different fighter than the guy that beat you -- adjustments come and show in a rematch.

He wasn't focused on doing anything but fighting his fight ...
