no chance khan is remembered in the years to come, he will most likely have one more shot at a welterweight title and lose before he fights brook and calls it a day. he started at LW couldn't do sh!t there, got to SLW and won some belts before getting ruined beyond repair, he has some good wins but the people he beat (in what were considered to be competitive fights at the time) will also not be remembered. he chased money rather then glory, he's what's wrong with boxers today, they want the green without earning the gold first!

 

A real good question would be what if amir khan actually had a chin? He would have boxed canelos head off all night, Im not even a khan fan, but besides having a glass chin, His actual boxing skills are legitimately elite.

As someone whose obsession with Mayweather cost him any chance of being a top fighter. Never look past the fighter infront of you - Peterson and Garcia are prime examples of when he did. All he bleated on about was Mayweather in the build up.

He avoided punchers like the plague until the cash became King for the Canelo fight. If he'd have re-matched Garcia, fought Thurman, Brook, Porter etc I'd maybe think differently.

I suspect after Khan exhausted all title shots and big money matches with everyone, I think he would finally consider a final payday fight against Brook and cash out to call it a career.

 

He probably won't even remember why he should be remembered because when he got kod he didn't remember **** at all.
