I think size does matter because you cant learn it and it gives the taller boxer a advantage if both boxers are on even terms in their skills
Foreman wasn't slow. Wlad and Fury don't help your point. Wlad has some of the worst stamina in HW boxing champ history.
What I've been saying for almost 43 pages is in boxing things are never even. I agree with the idea but in reality two fighters are never even in terms of skill set.
A younger Wlad had a lightning fast jab/cross. He even hooked off the jab with great speed when his timid heart allowed. Physically, he had everything you could ever want from a heavyweight.
Dago ever heard the saying stay calm and throw bombs, forget about it. Here's what you do, through 3 effortless punches! Right-cross behind the jab, do a slapping hook and step out left towards your opponents right shoulder.
When you're fighting the who's who of your top ten you can't be accused of fighting only bums. Marciano had his nose split in half by a LHW. By those standards he wasn't durable either. If he was faster and more effective at 180 than at 200 then he wasn't a natural 200lber.
All these stupid ideas about making weight, every fighter out there as the same opportunity as the next to cut weight to make weight. Maybe we should ban any training before fights, will that sort out who's fighting at their "natural" weight.....
Wlad's top 10 was a bunch of guys with padded records. Bum crushers. Resume is a lot more important than ranking. Ok? Marciano had is nose split big whoop are you saying that Marciano's nose was equal to Vitali's beaten to a pulp, raw steak face? You act like if Marciano isn't the most durable hard hitting fighter that I will go nuts. At 180 lbs his stamina was better than at 200 lbs. A natural 200 lbr is someone who without any weight cut is 200 lbs fighting weight. He fought at 200 lbs thus he was a natural 200 lbr. You see this is where you expose your lack of knowledge about boxing. You completely undervalue conditioning and stamina. Without stamina a fighter is a sitting duck. In those days a lot of stamina was required to fight 20 rdrs. I guarantee you Wlad or Vitali would not see the 20th round against any opponent they fought.
