Did anybody not expect this to happen with Haye at the end of the fight? The acting gets better and better. Will anyone buy a PPV based on this acting?
I'm one of the few who like Bellew, but he fought naively tonight. Got caught far too much. I feel that he lets his emotions get the better of him so instead of staying relaxed and using the jab, he goes toe to toe with the fella, leaving himself wide open.
I think he fought like that with half a mind on Haye. He wanted a spectacular early KO to set up that fight. I mean, each time he put Flores down, he turned to and taunted Haye, so he was clearly thinking about him, even during the bout. For what it's worth, if that fight is made at heavyweight and Haye is even as little as 70% the fighter he was, he will brutally KO the bomber, who like you, I have a lot of time for.
Yeah I like bellew too I think he gets a bit over emotional at times which makes him look bad but he works hard. But yeah haye is a nightmare for him, Haye will find him so easy to counter and the power will be way too much. That said bellew is surrounded by killers at cw and this is by far the biggest money fight he can get so why not.
Massive cringe fest that. Terrible low blow from Bellew which the awful Ian John Lewis somehow missed. Very ooor from BJ after though. Haye KO's Bellew within 3. Assume Bellew just wants to avoid Drozd/Lebedev and cash out on A Haye hiding
