GGGs team pushes fight back scared of purse bid.

    They only ordered the purse bid at first to see if Jacobs would pull out. Otherwise they would of pushed for it. But guess what the negotiations got extended. Loeffler has already stated they don't want it to go to a purse bid. It doesn't matter if Jacobs side didn't come to agreement because a purse bid would settle it all. Thats why boxing has purse bids. Loeffler has already stated as much. Unfortunately GGGs team has been talking out of both sides of their ass. You cannot say Jacobs is holding up the fight while your doing everything you can to avoid the purse bid. I hope the WBA calls for the purse bid. Read the linked article.

    To sum up, Jacobs doesn't wan't to go to purse bid, but GGG probably does (25/75). Haymon and Showtime might want to go purse bid, but Loeffler probably doesn't want to with the little money he is getting from HBO and the contract he probably has with them. GGG is probably in disagreement with Loeffler on that one, so is probably Jacobs with Haymon. It is hard to see that the fight will go through, or else there is a clear will of all sides to want the fight, which there seem to be.

    Just tired of the blatant hypocrisy. GGGs team keeps saying Jacobs is the reason for the fight not happening and yet they are avoiding a purse bid. Then his cheerleaders come out on here and say Jacobs ducked GGG yet like you mentioned negotiations aren't over yet. This has been ongoing since negotiations started. Both teams are playing games but only one team is being blamed. Whats worse I am not even a Jacobs fan. IMO he is a glorified #1 contender and a paper titlist. I just want the purse bid to happen or for GGGs team to give him a reasonable percentage so the fight can happen on HBO. The WBA needs to get their sh*t together.

    I don't think its GGG which is why I usually say Loeffler or GGGs team. Ggg will fight whoever I don't doubt it. I don't know how much of a say Jacobs has but he hasn't pulled out. Neither team may want the purse bid but it may have to haooen anyway. This will be the second postponement if the WBA allows it. The WBA might have to sort this sh*t out.

    Agree with this post. Golovkin's clock is ticking. They need to cram his schedule, they don't have time to play games. If they're scared the fight will be on a rival network then pay Jacobs more and make the goddamn fight. What's the point of waiting out more months for the sake of 10% or whatever, when they could have had TWO fights in the same time? Makes no sense.

    Kell Brook was a worthy challenger that showed great heart, but I don't want to see GGG face another last-minute opponent. Let's see him against Jacobs, Saunders, somebody from 160 that can fight. C'm on.

    "what happens if haymon wins the bid" many of us said...it appears k2 was afraid of this....as ive said many times this guy loeffler is over his head trying to move a guy like golovkin....

    and of course all of the bumdog fans are going to blame jacobs because thats what they do.....always point the finger in another direction

    last week it was "ggg cant let jacobs get 40 percent or every other guy will ask for the same and thats not good business".......im sure their tune is different today or tomorrow "just fight for pride jacobs stop being a pansy....if you beat golovkin the world opens up for you"......

    like ive said...this guy loeffler doesnt know what hes doing

    and i agree......this was the point i was making last week...if 60-40 gets the fight done? then they should jump at it...its a good fight.....they acting like they prime oscar, floyd or pac here......but of course all the bumdog fans were like "nope...cant do it....if they do this everyone will try to get the same deal".....these guys acting like hes got good fights left and right to choose from...

    Jacobs is the one that pulled out...he turned down 1.7 mill then said he needs 12 weeks for training..OP is a fool
