Who holds the record for most documented professional fights?
Kristian Laight has 250 and is still active.

Surely this is right up there historically?

Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom had quite a few... close to 300

Difference is, he won most of those fights

Ted Kid Lewis had 57 fights in one year (1911). That's impressive.

Yeah, Maxie and Greb both came close to the 300 fight mark. Freddie Miller, Benny Leonard, SRR and Willie Pep all clocked in at over 200 fights.

Amazing - and a nice little record within that is that him and a chap called Bobby Wood fought 5 times in as many weeks at the start of 1929! they had a 6th bout later in that year too, Len winning all six.

Buck Smith is worth a mention.

I'm sure he had around 250 fights winning almost all of them. I remember him as a decent puncher, pretty sure he stopped most of them.

He usually only lost when he stepped up to world level against the likes of Chavez, McGirt and Breland. However he did actually beat some decent fighters.

Pretty sure he had a run of around 80 consecutive wins during his peak, albeit against average opposition.

Surely one of the best journeymen ever.
