Price fought like a scared rabbit against Teper. And he was very very cautious against that Croatian pub landlord last month.

He will absolutely **** it immediately against Joshua with his timid jab and he'll be brutalised early on. Any boxing fan that can't see why this will most definitely happen needs to give it up and stop commenting on the sport.

Price just wants the fight so that he can make one final decent payday to set up his plumbing business. If he was genuinely confident, he would have fought Whyte first for a quality pay day before taking on AJ so that he can maximise his earnings. But even Whyte would spark the Liverpool plumber in 60 seconds. Price even shat it from Allen. He's the biggest joke in British boxing at the moment by far. So delusional and he genuinely thinks the Teper and Thompson KOs wouldn't have happened without the drugs, even though Thompson was taking something with the effect of a cough medicine basically.

Almost a waste of time comparing each of these fighter's pros and cons - it's a good match-up on paper. But the fact is, Price freezes on the big stage and would do in this fight. AJ wouldn't even need to take risks but just wait for Price's nervous energy to drain the tank by round four and then take him out. Easy night's work with the caveat if Price lands a bomb he could KO Josuha.

Forget all the physical attributes of Price height and reach,be it fighting journeymen or getting an undeserved title shot he is a psychologically damaged fighter.

He should never of got straight back in with TT after the first defeat however much he wanted to and it was him that demanded Maloney make the rematch. He should of been told no and at that point, rebuild because in boxing once your confidence is shot you have lost the battle before you step back through the ropes.Anyone else remember the long interview on Ringside after the first TT defeat and again being on the show before the rematch...?He was mentally shot he went into the rematch with hope, not belief and the show being in Liverpool he felt the pressure even more. Some thrive under the spotlight and some don't.

Those talking like it could be another Haye-Audley match up are spot on in my view.

Thats pretty much how i see it.

Price certainly has the tools and the power to outbox or KO Joshua, but he's way too gun shy and Joshua way too reckless.

As soon as Joshua touches Price he'll freeze, and then Joshua will simply unload on him.

And now weighing more than 19stones, he'll gas even quicker. The only way for Price to win this fight is charge at AJ from the first bell and thrown bombs hoping his will land before Joshua's. But what he will actually do, is paw out half-hearted jabs and wait for the inevitable: An AJ right hander to his marshmallow mandible.

That is exactly how I see it playing out.
I can't understate the importance of a fighters mindset at the highest level the talk of what happened in sparring between them I had heard about years ago.It would be the only selling point to the fight but what has happened to both since is the reality.
If Price was unbeaten or had even only been beaten even by stoppage once, what happened between them he could of got some confidence from but because of the nature of his defeats,he knows that his chin is going to let him down.
What is worse it will let him down against the biggest puncher he has faced,Price has power but is gun shy and naturally so now.

Price hasn't fought on the 'BIG' stage to freeze, he froze on the small stage.......... He is a bum who is happy to cash out now. AJ represents the biggest payday for the guy so i dont blame him for trying but Hearn has no shame, this simply is not a headline PPV fight.

Domestic mauling more like, not i Prices favor AJ could KO him in 1 round but Hearn will say spin it out for 5 if you can AJ....... I can see AJ not throwing a shot for 3 rounds. Terrible fight and Fast Eddie is going to be quids in again.
Wonder if Punter is going to buy it. :jump1:

    Well maybe a lot!

Joshua's contract clearly states he has to fight on PPV.

Price is so bad under pressure. He will be on the ropes with his head getting bounced around within 1 minute.

Big... small, whatever. Really? You wrote an entire post to split hairs? Btw, anyone who uses the word 'bum' to describe any fighter is a casual and I don't discuss boxing matters with casuals. Goodbye.

I see this fight lasting about 2 minutes, and that is no disrespect to David Price who at one point was a Tony Thompson win away from a shot at the big man on campus Wlad, and a great fighter hiding fragile tendencies.

Price today is frigid, scared, cautious and inviting a rush attack. I expect that AJ launches the rush attack somewhere around the 1 minute mark and gets the KO win at the 2 minute mark.
