Vargas is coming back a bit. I like his composure.

Pacquiao is pressuring with his guard up, then dropping his arms to bob at medium-long range while angling himself with his left side turned away from Vargas. Pacquiao jumps in and launches more overhand lefts behind the jab. Vargas is waving his fists in the air, playing zone defense, picking off what he can and tentatively backing off & countering high and low with jabs. Vargas gets a solid right hand in. Vargas is backed up by a 1-1-2 and clinches. Pacquiao rushes into a right hand but deflects most of it off his left arm before it catches his jaw, lessening the blow.

The fourth was Vargas' best (though still Pac close IMO). He needs to keep dialing in that right hand and timing Pacquiao, and not getting dazzled by the speed and movement.

 

vargs wins round 4....2 rounds even....pac man up 37-38. pac is gettin hit more and more as the fight progresses...pac's defnse was never great..but now he's slower and seems to laack stamina...against a younger dude...i think vargas got it tonight.

 

Pac will want this one done quick, I don't beleve he had a good camp with all the distractions. Expect Vargas to come on strong late in the fight if he isn't destroyed first.
