Why in the hell is Kell Brook getting credit for fighting in a cherry picked, overmatched fight and finally getting his first million dollar payday after 10 years and 36 fights?
So fighting Golovkin and losing has the Mayweather affect now? You get credit and clout for getting beaten?
Kell Brook is still the same guy who went life and death with Carson Jones, now you act like Erislandy Lara would not pop him up for 36 minutes. Now you acting like he can beat Andrade or a Charlo because GGG broke his eye lid. Gennady Golovkin won't fight most guys in the 154 division not coming from 147 first, are you ****ing serious.

The man who just fought the fringe of the fringe contenders for the IBF title after getting stabbed in a "suspect" guys apartment on vacation? This. Kell after the Porter fight actually regressed by going back to fighting domestic level competition. Kell would be cannon fodder at 154 and I don't like his chances against Spence either.

but there is also another fact...and it goes something like this....golovkin fans are desperate, desperate, people...they will say anything to prop up golovkin because they need to believe in something...they need to have something to hold over peoples heads on the internet to make their tiny lives feel like they matter....

golovkin/brook was a planned fight/sham...this was no last minute put together coincidence.....and it was a farce...the first sign of trouble and they bailed brook out...this was nothing more than an attention/money grab...

these losers need golovkin to be something....and the sad thing is hes a very good fighter..maybe even great...but for some reason they give this guy every excuse to do nothing

 

Kell beats ANY 147 fighter out there. He also beats both Charlo's Canelo Cotto and Lara. Only Mayweather troubles Special K fact.

People really just rate him for his win over Shawn Porter. He won more convincingly than Thurman, but Thurman had a much better fight. I think Brook fought well vs Golovkin despite only winning one round, but I'm still not sold on him. I would rather see him at 154 than 147, but I imagine there are bigger matches for him at 147. If he loses to Spence, which is a a huge possibility, he probably moves up immediately.

Or maybe boxers realised how good Brook actually was by beating Porter and avoided him because there was easier more lucrative fights out there?

 

It would be an exciting fight but Brook's class and power would be too much imo.
