I'll take most of the top 154's.
Lara, the Charlos even John Jackson to school him for some rounds until Brook finds a miracle punch.

Yep exactly I've been a fan of Brook and the fight with GGG whilst lucrative proved to be very dangerous for his career, heck even GGGs own division at 160 won't fight him.
What's bugged me though and it was the same before GGG his Kells and Eddie Hearns unwillingness to even mention Spence which seem real odd considering he's Brooks mandatory and whilst Spence is gaining a reputation at the moment it's just that and Brook should be thinking of a big top quality fight between two monster welterweights,I'm telling it now though that Brook will somehow get out of fighting Spence, after Mayweather there's too many guys just trying to protect their records like we as fans care cause we don't give damn about having a 0 as we just wanna see em fight the best in their own division.

I know hardcore fans will stay loyal if their favourite fighters take a loss, but the casuals I think are more fickle and they think a loss can make a fighter a bum unless they have a strong resume behind them

He fits just fine at 154 and would trouble anyone. I realize they hate GGG and therefore are honor bound to hate everyone he defeats but to write Brook off because it fits your social construct/narrative is just plain ignorant.

You guys sound like muttnightprowler taking about Geale FFS.

I think there are several fighters that could beat him at JMW. SOme of those boys are REALLY big 154 lbers that would make pretty big MW's.

Jermall Charlo is a big 154 lber with good power in both hands. I think he knocks Kell out within 8 or 9 rounds. His brother Jermell isn't as good nor does he have the physical stature of Jermall but he'd probably beat Kell as well in a decision.

I think Lara is just too skilled for someone like Kell. But it all depends on what version of Lara shows up and if he keeps his punch output at an acceptable level per round. I'd favor Erislandy by decision.

Andrade hasn't been fighting too frequently but he has looked good inside the ring. He's also a pretty big 154 lber and I'd favor him to beat Kell also.

Now a fight with Canelo would be interesting. I'd favor Alvarez but Kell would absolutely be a live dog in that fight.

If anything, Brook should try to make his way back to 147 and compete with some of those top tier guys in that division. I don't know why he thinks he'll be so successful at the higher weights because of his fight with Golovkin. Granted, he got a couple punches in during his fight with GGG, but it ended in a stoppage and a fractured orbital bone for Kell. I don't know how he believed that performance equates to him being successful at the higher weights. If anything, it should remind him to stay in his own weight class.

I would love to see Brook vs. Trout in 2017.
