Loeffler "Golovkin and Jacobs in serious negotiations"

So were the Eubank negotiations.

 

It's become a thing now. The goal is to ALMOST fight Golovkin. That way you stay relevant without getting KTFO.

 

I'm fed up with Golovkin and his big mouth trainer. It was confirmed that Canelo offered 10 mil... FAR more than ggg HAS made, or can make against anyone currently. Floyd took small money against Oscar, went in and beat him and became THE MAN. Oscar called all the shots and Floyd, out of necessity was "yes sir" to all them. Golovkin is a fool for not doing the same.

I don't wanna hear anymore of this "no one will fight me" bs. As I said before, i would be less harsh if he was 26 or 27... but he is nearing the end of his prime ffs. It's inexcusable.

 

Eubank RAN remember? Didn't pick up the phone, so they took Brook. Then after Brook got the stuffing knocked out of him Eubank went on twitter ridiculing Brook's effort.

nothing new, never ending negotiations which will fall out and leave Golovkin to fight another over-matched mandatory

 

This is silly, why does it take 4 months to negotiate a fight?

 

Fight won't happen, so no point getting your hopes up. Jacobs is just stringing them along so he can say he actually tried to make the fight rather than looking like a coward and vacating the belt.

The longer the negotiations the more it actually looks like he wanted the fight.

It's all about saving face. Similar to the BS $10m offer from El Pollo, a fight which could possibly make 10 times as much.
Then they can say we tried to make the fight . . . sigh . . .

I am willing to bet neither Jacobs, Saunders or Canelo fights GGG in 2017. None of them have the balls until he shows signs of decline.

It's really laughable that a D-side like Jacobs can drag out negotiations for weeks.
You're a ****ing D-side, what is there to negotiate? You're offered a fight in your home country and hometown for 3 belts on HBO.

This fight is garbage Jacobs is a nice story with his cancer survival but has a glass jaw and isn't good.

 

Jacobs really bothers me because I want to like the guy because of his cancer survival, but he is making it so hard...

 

The reason the fight hasn't been made is because they're going about it the wrong way.
