Paul Smith turns down Chavez fight

Would like to see this fight at 160 myself. Won't happen though so yes why not 168. Geographically close, would be good in the crowd as Murray would bring all the egg chasers and Smith always has a good following. Good to see what both have left.

Murray said he felt how big and strong Groves was at 168 and admitted he may need to go back down can't believe he hasn't. Would love to see him fight Eubank jr.

As for Smith he should just have a scrap at domestic level to make some money and get people interested again. With his former opponents 1 decent win at British level will get people talking about him alongside the bigger names again. However, as someone said, he seems to be waiting for a big one to land in his lap like Price.

He was given one of the biggest names in boxing to test himself against (quite how he got that shot in the first place is beyond me) and completey disgraced himself coming in the shape that he did.

If you can't get motivated to take on one of the very best undefeated p4p fighters of the last god knows how many years then what will you get motivated for? Guys work their whole life for an opportunity like that and he couldn't be arsed.

I don't think Chavez jr is anything special but I think he would beat Smith convincingly though. Smith needs to hang them up.

The fat f*ck had a run out in May, then another run out in May and then a run out in September. He doesn't need or deserve another.
