I totally agree with you 100%.
I watch a lot of boxing and accept that sometimes fights are difficult to judge and we don't all agree on the final result when it goes to the judges.
But that was beyond a joke. All of the judges should hang their heads in shame at the way they robbed Solis.
What was it that they thought that they had seen?
I feel very bad for Solis after all the effort he put in and yet he was robbed of his moment of glory.
The result of that fight stinks.

 

Just going off point here but has anyone told Stephen smith your allowed to move your head???

Think McDonnell can finally stop moaning about the ibf stripping him now after that gift he was given tonight. Likes of Haskins, butler, tete, Burnett will be licking their lips after that performance.

 

In fairness to McDonnell, when Nelson and Robinson said otherwise he did say he was a bit gutted they viewed it that way so will have to watch it back to see it how they seen it because he was the one in the moment.

 

Why are you having a pop at Jamie McD? He said himself he will watch the fight back. When you are fighting you can often see things different. Remember Quigg was stunned when Joe G told him he was way down on the Sky cards against Frampton but upon reflection he said he realised why that was.

Fair play to Adam Smith, Johnny Nelson who were honest enough to say Solis won fairly comfortably and Johnny even said to McDonnell face to face "you were lucky tonight".

Paul Smith said he had it level after 10, I have no idea what he was watching but that was awful, actually he was awful all night.

Hearn even had the nerve to say "I thought Jamie nicked it", how he kept a straight face I have no idea.

Aye but both, in the early rounds of that fight did nothing much ....Solis put it on Jamie from the off and clearly built up a big lead and if Jamie was honest with himself would know just that.

 

If you watch back Smith had Jamie losing clearly then suddenly had him winning when Dave C said to Jamie he was winning when he asked him in the corner....Smith totally change his mind when he hear DC say what he said in that corner....absolutely shocking decision
