There's no doubt McGregor is the biggest draw in combat sports, even more popular than Pac in 2009.

Wouldn't it be great if Golovkin had the same ballz and ambition as McGregor and Andre Ward?

Just to throw it in this is the post fight interview of the year. No humble talk at all. Cocky as a rooster in a hen house. And people say they hated the way Mayweather acted, at least he gave his opponent props after the fight.
This right here is sincere ignorance and I love it!!!!!!!!

McGregor would be smarter to go for Bisping and the Middleweight title than to try Woodley at Welterweight. Weigh in at 171 to hit middleweight and be light, fast, powerful, and not cut any weight. He'd be able to pick Bisping apart in a striking battle. Do it in Ireland and you could probably sell out a 70,000 seat soccer stadium.

He showed respect and shook hands with Alvarez and his corner. This is all show. I couldn't stand how McGregor acted at the pre-fight presser a couple of days before the fight though. That was far too over the top and stupid. He was a lot better at the post-fight press conference.

You are bottling up hate for 1 man and ignoring guys who have put a lot of skill and practice into this sport.
Guys like Jon Jones beats everyone with their own strengths which is why he is undefeated. Legends ike Forrest Griffen, Ken Shamrock, Frank Shamrock the original MMA master, Anderson Silva, Tito Ortiz, George St. Pierre, The entire Gracie clan!!!!!!

McGregor is a salesman and a showman and he is really the real deal. How many guys can come back and still have the confidence he does after tapping out to Nate Diaz, someone with the boxing equivalent skills of Gabe Rosado? Look at our legends in boxing after a defeat, Pacquiao is less than a shell of himself after Marquez., he is actually afraid of punches now. I enjoy both sports and boxing will always be #1 but I have also watched UFC back when it was like the Kumate on video cassette tape. I respect both.

Did you see Diaz 2? McGregor was so scared of gassing he actually started running!

Eddie is much smaller than Nate Diaz

Pacman has fought basically as good as ever after Marquez see Bradley III

I don't hate McGregor. I'm simply using the already exposed once hype job on why UFC is a farce organization of cheap thrill entertainment. Second let's use Jon Jones bones. Wasn't he envolved in two hit and run accidents. He does coke before a fight and was popped on a drug test for his return. They don't even punish ped abusers in their sport. But with all that said, bones best attribute is his athleticism more so than his skill and he's the Kevin Durant of mma. Just a lanky freak. His still being relevant helps my argument even more that UFC is just for entertainment. I saw you use Forrest griffin as well. He makes Arturo Gatti look like sweet pea. Mma is just a bunch of journeyman or tough man who are willing to go out on their shield night in and night out. It's just a more organized and popular bum fights. Boxing is a science. Mma is literally jack ass on steroids.

    Are you serious.

Khabib, maia, DC, GSP plus a whole slew of others (not sure on GSP) have been top of their game in ground warfare. Sure they havent got the amateur boxers going into mma yet but to say there is not elite quality is delusional.

Stephan thompson who fought woodley was an undefeated Karate champion. How many NCAA wrestlers have competed or Sambo champions etc etc. Most MMA dudes do come from other backgrounds and surprisingly aside from say connor or platinum mike perry I dont think theres a hge amount of ex boxers in MMA.

What happens when amateur boxers start leaning towards MMA as a profesisonal career. Im not talking some dude who has barely trained but actual younger ammy dudes who start training in BJJ, Sambo, Wrestling etc etc.

If Khabib can stay standing till Conor gasses or manages a take down, his ground & pound will absolutely dominate Conor. But it's tough to past that left, I don't really know who to pick.

They have an absolute cash machine with McGregor, no doubting it.
