It won't reach that level because once boxers understand that their entire career will be over they will no longer feel the need to cheat. I think the mentality is, everybody is doing it, so I should do it too. Start throwing out the likes of a Canelo, 3G and Mayweather and you'll see a big drop off in drug usage. They first need t get the scalps of a few big name stars to get the point across. Of course this is easier said than done. Promotion companies won't take too kindly to losing their cash cows. Plus all the court room litigation would be insane.
You won't be able to remove anyone from the sport unless they officially test dirty and the drugs and masking procedures are too advanced for that ever to become a reality, even assuming positive tests can't be covered up by those with a vested interest in the guilty parties concerned. It's just never going to happen short of some massive expose by industry insiders that blows the lid on the whole show. Then it's simply a matter of new companies coming up with new drugs and starting the ball rolling again. It's nothing more than a temporary reprieve. The idea that athletes won't always find ways to gain an unfair advantage for fear of the repercussions is more than a touch naïve, IMO.
URGH that's so ****ing lame. It was something of a 'meh' fight anyway. I hope Stiverne gets KO'd Incidentally, I know Pov was 'cleared' but did the proper authority actually confirm that?
sasha should scream peds jump on a plane fly around the world screaming cheat and he will never get another shot rah rah rah wbc don't want sasha with that wbc belt no no no
DMAA "meathead ritalin" strikes again. So unprofessional that he probably didn't know what was in his pre-workout because it would only be a real performance enhancer during the fight if he took it. If you are taking it all training camp it is probably degrading performance a bit from burning you out.
I am slowly starting to not care... now i see how quite a few people think that most in the sport are on something.
stivern should not be allowed to fight. plain and simple. even if povetkin is stilll willing to fight it should not be up to him.
Once again meldonium is not a drug, it is more like a vitamin that relieves the stress from excessive cardiac stress in athletes. Stiverne got popped for DMAA an actual amphetamine.
DMAA is no longer in any OTC pre workout powders, you have to take it in it's inclusive form. Very hard to not know what you are taking because you cannot get it OTC. Very little down regulation occurs even with daily use assuming it is not used more than a few months straight without a break.
This sport is in a ****en bad place now. Pacs HGH use, Margaritos plaster use, Headvetkinand his Meldonium use, the Brits use anything, and now Stiverne. The sport wants to endorse PED use. It's despicable now. Despicable!!!
Where is the evidence for Pac's HGH? That's right you got ****. You *****s can't get your stories right. Is it good that VADA is catching these cheaters or is it not? Can't figure it out huh?
It's well known amongst the boxing community NOT diehards, people in the know like Paulie and many others including Roach that Pac was an HGH abuser. #Fact
The brits use nothing but hardwork and theyre genetically superior chins. the yanks are disgraceful PED users.
