    My friends younger brother - a former amateur standout blighted by injuries - used to throw vicious uppercuts to the armpit to hinder an opponents jab. The requisite muscles stiffen and the punch becomes a hell of a lot less effective.

    There are all sorts of tactics that posters on here are totally unaware of despite seeing them utilised in actual fights

    thats a great tactic, i can imagine an uppercut in the armpit would hurt like hell, or atleast graze ribs on the way up.
