I'm not convinced the winner of DeGale v Jack will face Callum Smith

Whatever happens Smith prob loses as firstly he's a Smith brother and secondly he's trained by Joe Gallagher. Combined that means he'll get plenty of title shots but lose any meaningful fights he has.

 

Degale would like nothing more than to beat Callum Smith id even say its on a par with avenging Groves!
Where do you think all the bad blood stems from with Hearn?

 

I think Degale wanted Hearn to really back him but he seemed more interested in Callum Smith and all hearn would talk about was Callum smith taking over SMW.

Either way Degale would love to smash Callum Smith and stick it to Hearn.

 

If Degale beats Jack like I think he will then I would be shocked if he didn't face his mando Smith next, it would do good numbers on PPV.

If Groves gets a title through the WBA route then the winner of Degales/Smith could fight Groves in a unification fight towards the end of 2017.

 

DeGale lost his chance of getting over with the UK fans when he left Hearn.
There is a reason he was fighting in shopping centres and small halls. He's extremely un-likeable, he's an arrogant ***** and there was a lot of joy when he was beaten by Groves again.

Eddie turned that around a bit and built him up and then he threw that back by going off to the US. He did an IFL interview a few weeks ago where he said he could sell out the emirates, hilarious. He get's booed in england, without a big undercard he wouldn't even sell out the O2.

 

Sadly this does seem to be the trend, None of the smiths have ever looked truly world class, Even tho liam won a title he didn't win it from a world class operator. I hope callum is the one to go on and do it properly but i just don't see him going on to win it and defend against the best.

If DeGale beats Jack then it's inevitable that he'll fight Callum Smith. DeGale would love to school Eddie Hearn's golden boy and tbh it's quite an easy fight for him. DeGale will give Smith a boxing lesson. Callum Smith is overrated and has a long way to go.

Smith is DeGale's mandatory if he beats Jack and you really think DeGale is going to vacate the title, miss out on a massive pay day and duck Callum Smith? Look, I'm not saying Callum Smith is bad, he's a good fighter with decent power but he's simply not at that level. In my opinion DeGale is the best super middleweight in the world I guarantee he's not ducking somebody who's best win has come against Rocky Fielding lol.
