Ward is a very talented , gritty , tough and game fighter but I honestly don't think he's on a level close enough to truly compete with Kovalev . I think people again are vastly under rating Kovalev the boxer kind of how many were up to the bhops fight.. I was trying to educate the forum during fight week, simply stating the obvious and that was it was a total mismatch and Kovalev would make bhops look like a club fighter.. that's exactly what we have. With ward, it's not that much of a mismatch but the result will be even worse I believe.. the reason I feel this way is due to ward having much more pride than bhopa, no way would ward EVER lay down like bhops, I've seen bhops literally quit because he knew he wasn't capable of winning and wasn't mentally prepared for a beating.. Of course, he FAKED an injury so he got a pass BUT, he quit in my book, that's all I needed to see. ward wouldn't ever go out like that, I guess hops was an old man so the pass is OK, wards not too old so he will fight to win and that will put him in harms way round after round. He's not accepting a loss and just trying to last the distance , I think he'd rather lose by ko trying to win than lose by Dec trying not to get ko'd... Idk, can ward really handle what Kovalev is throwing at him ? we're not talking about froch or Kessler here, we're talking fugging Kovalev . is ward a lhw fmj ? it would take a fmj type performance to be able to topple a Kovalev . I'd be very surprised if ward lasted the 12 rounder, we don't have to talk about him winning unless he's made it past 6 and he looks game..

Most logical people gave Hop no chance. And to think that Hop quit is utterly pathetic.
