    3 US judges and a US referee and not a neutral official in sight let alone a Russian one. Disgusting American corruption strikes again. Their elite coward fighters always fight with the deck heavily stacked in their favour and they refuse to fight on a level playing field. Kovalev won that.

    You have half the people crying Robbery and half the people say Ward.. Fact is, it was a draw. I had Ward winning not because I believe he won but because I know so called judges and American boxing fans enjoy his spoiling. Maybe the coward will fight away from home for once.

    Welcome to the Hall of Fame, Andre Ward.
    I predicted it would be 9-3 Ward in terms of rounds, but Kovalev landing a couple of knockdowns. Kovalev did better than I thought he did even though I didn't give Kovalev the decision.

    Like the decision or not, this was an entertaining fight fought on a very high level. Overall, boxing gained more fans tonight than it lost I hope!

    Not happy with the scorecards, but credit to Ward for taking this fight, gutting it out, and putting on a courageous display.

    Honestly, I had Ward up.

    Although I missed the last quarter of the fight because my laptop's battery popped out and I had to endure a windows update for 10 minutes.

    I wanted Kov to win though. I really didn't like all the elbows from Ward I've seen in past fights.

    Why did Kovalev agree to having 3 American judges to score the fight in the first place ? If it was a joint Krusher promotion surely he could have had some say in who scores. Poor business acumen from him.

    I would love to go in on the US and say they sided with the American fighter against a Russian but as I'm from the UK and some of the absolute horror we have served up recently I can't really say much.

    Ward adjusted and won it back like a champ 8 rounds to 4 without the knockdown. close but felt the rounds were easy to judge apart from the 3rd round maybe
