Lederman is repeatedly on record for giving points to the aggressor even when it's ineffective aggression.
If a fighter is fighting on the backfoot, effectively, Lederman still deducts points for that fighter moving backwards. Lederman is as old as dirt (Farmboxer) and needs to retire. He's had a nice run for someone who DKSAB.
You can tell how very wrong he is when Jones has to repeatedly correct him for blurting out foolish nonsense.

 

Yes I agree with that, but trying to imply he's pro EU/white is wrong imo, because he's not. Lampley should be getting **** not Lederman for clearly having an agenda.

He's senile, plain and simple. His knowledge of what goes inside the ring is very limited, I don't care how long he's been watching boxing or how much history he knows, he has little actual appreciation or understanding of the craft.

Not only that, his voice is extremely irritating, he sounds like he's been inhaling Helium. Also, I find it creepy how he pretty much has been repeating the same 2-3 lines word for word and in the same tone for the past 20 or whatever years he's been in this programme.

Kovalev won that fight. Deal with it. Even supremacist Stephan A Smith had Kovalev winning that fight. There is no way Ward won. Even to "win" he had to resort to tactics of rule breaking that no true man would feel good about doing.

 

Letterman is shot to bits. He can't even throw out his best punch line any more - "Jim , i gotta tell ya" ... Time to pack it in Letterman.

And Lamps can go too. He tried to argue Ward was a fully fledged LHW because he fought there in the amateurs. Ward was 165 in the Olympics

I was wondering the same thing watching the fight. He seems to do that often when it comes to certain fighters that they are expected to hype/praise.

 

He's **** at scoring and agenda driven. Different types of boxers should be allowed to have a path to victory as it has been traditionally. Sometimes Lederman will change up and support the boxer over the puncher when it suits him so I know he's another full of **** hypocrite like most on this board. Somehow he stays alive which is unfortunate since it appears that's the only way he will get off TV.
