Haha would love it if Haye gets wrecked by Bellew. Under different circumstances we should all be huge fans of Haye but he has just taken the **** too often in his career to fully respect the man.

 

Yeah it would be hilarious but if haye has anything at all left he only has to land, over real quick. I was still a fan when he took out chisora but since then, to echo your point he has taken the **** too often. I don't take him seriously at all now, or this fight, if it actually happens....

It would take a few decent wins to make the real fans believers again and he shown no sign of this in his recent "comeback". How long does it take for an ex champ to stop fighting bums and get back into the mix, not exactly Ali is he.

Still build up should be good theatre. I'll go Bellew in the build up, Haye in the actual fight.

 

**** fight, not only a **** fight, but 4 months away. Haye mugs the casual yet again. Claiming people want him to knock Bellew out, most people who would attend a Haye fight have never even heard of Bellew.

 

I don't think Bellew getting the respect he deserves.. if he had fought 2 or 3 more times at CW with Lebedev/Usyk or Stevenson.. it woulda shown.. but he jumped straight into the Haye fight..


Plus Bellew was in Rocky 7 FFS.. people have heard of him..

 

It would have been natural to take Lebedev/Usyk/Stevenson as back to back fights.. and he would have beaten all of them..

No surprise to see that Haye destroyed Bellew in the press conference. Bellew was stuttering and stumbling over his words. Haye owned him.

 

Haye took the bait big time and made himself look out of control, verbally having a go at Bellew's team and Hearn. Bellew came out of that better.

However, I was really impressed with the speed of that ***** slap by Haye. Even when you slow it down it's hard to see it.

 

It's funny how people see things differently. I agree with everything you said other than bellew coming out of it better.

Bellew wasn't giving it large like he was before when speaking to Kugan afterwards where he looked a beaten man IMO. Suddenly it was about representing boxing in a good light. What happened to sideshow bob taunts and talking about how he loves bashing people up? Bellews ****ed and he knows it. Eddie has stitched him up here.
