Wouldn't be a shutout by any stretch, but I would edge towards Loma. That's saying something because I rate Floyd's earlier weight H2H ability very highly. That would've been an absurd amount of skill in one ring.
I respect your opinion but Floyd at 130 is the most complete fighter ever. His run at 147 was kinda of a lame joke. But 130 is Floyds weight class. No disrespect to Loma cause dude is putting in work but Floyd is arguably TBE at 130lbs. Saturday was funny to watch I like Loma incredible talent
Most of the **** posters gave **** answers. They attach the old Floyd's style to prime Floyd because they're not being honest. They are talking to Floyd's fans rather than boxing fans. So fake lol...
Floyd was so aggressive in his younger days. Those days are purposely forgotten lmfao... If Pac and Khan got ktfo and I were their fan I'd pick Loma too lol...
While i agree Loma is an amazing fighter and fully capable of beating a prime Floyd at 130 i could not disagree more with your opinion. Now i hate Floyd but to say he`d get shut out at 130 by anyone is insane. The guy was absolutely sensational at that weight. Could he lose to Loma? Sure. But to say shut out and compare a limited but talented fighter like Walters to a dynamic talent is crazy. Two absolutely different fighters and levels.
Lomachenko UD Mayweather. Styles make fights, Mayweather's style is fine for Loma. Mayweather would have a tough time. Mayweather's competitive advantages against his opposition are in his outboxing abilities. Lomachenko is a better pure boxer than Mayweather. 402-1 before turning pro, has learned pro tricks like pushing his opponents head down to avoid headbutts, complaining to the ref, adjusting his fighting to 12 rounds etc. Mayweather's power = horrendously overrated by his biggest fans. If you *****s want to remain a Lomachenko fan, you have to get used to the fact that Lomachenko will be increasingly regarded as better than prime 130b PBF. Over the years, you'll be weeded out as one who's too mentally weak to accept a fighter on his level.
Loma has great skills but Walters proved to be mentally weak and he was coming off year lay off after being iced by Bob Arum. Take into account Lomas accuracy which is no where near Floyds. Also Loma has proven he can get hit more than Floyd and this is against guys like Salido and even Rocky Martinez(round 5 I believe you can see this guy land 4 consecutive right hands on Loma). Loma landed only 26% of his shots against Walters, his supposedly greatest performance. Was it a one sided beating, yes but it wasn't as one sided as a Corrales or Gatti beating. We still don't know Lomas true level yet. You guys are getting a little carried away.
Another ***** compubox hugger. You have no idea about boxing. Lomachenko uses a lot of punches to set up his more meaningful shots...yes, he uses punches that are not even intented to land. You're also proving you have a Walters-esque brain by giving credence to inexcusable arguments. You're talking like Walters was on a 3 year layoff, hell not even an 18 month layoff would be given this much attention. Lomachenko said he will spend 4 rounds figuring Walters out and then start making moves on him. Walters was going to get KTFO in the next round, and regardless, this is an elite borderline P4P fighter we are talking about. Gatti was a punching bag, but regardless, I pick Lomachenko's Martinez performance above Mayweather's Gatti performance.
The only nuthugger I see in this thread is you. You're entitled to your opinion but you're clearly on a post fight high or some other drug. You're coming to such a drastic conclusion with minimal evidence of a guy who has already been beaten by Salido but I'm the hugger lmao. Loma is still essentially unproven. You're disregarding Floyds one shot speed that no one has ever been able to match. His timing has never been matched. Lomas most successful shits from what I've seen have been from turning fighters and catching them when they don't see it coming. I don't think Floyd would get turned by that and if he did he would just separate instead of staying in the same place as these plodders he's been put up against lmao. As far as another performance I think rivals anything Loma has done is the Shane fight. I've never seen anyone catch themselves midway getting knocked down from a temple shot to come back and then totally dominate a guy physically and mentally ever in the sport until that fight. Shane was p4p number 3 during that fight and that was Floyds 4th weight class lmao. I think it's you that doesn't know much about boxing. You should wait before reaching such asinine conclusions.
