John Mugabi V Nigel Benn at Middleweight

Benn .naturally a middle weight bit faster would have been awesome both destroyers could go the other way.I really hoped a benn Jackson fight could have happened 90_91would have been awesome total mayhem .shame it didn't come off.

 

Benn, by a hair.

Would have been a very violent fight.

At 160, Benn had a kamikaze style. This would play right into Mugabi's hands.

Dunno. What I do know is Julian Jackson gets the winner!

 

Benn was a bad mofo

 

Both hard punching aggressive fighters but Mugabi holds a punch a bit better than Benn does. I like Mugabi though Benn definitely has a puncher's chance.

 

I like Benn to take his soul by 5...haha.

 

John, and easier than people would think

 

The Beast was awesome but I pick Benn. I think Benn after the display against the vile McClellan showed more heart and guts that made sense he would never give up and I think his heart and big hooks would finish Mugabi.
Loved the beast when he was boxing never missed a fight.

 

I'd say Mugabi. The Hagler fight ruined Mugabi, but prior to Hagler, Mugabi was devastating and could take a solid shot. (One of the most overlooked atributes in boxing is confidence,Hagler ruined Mugabi by taking that confidence) Nigel Benn IS NOT Marvelous Marvin Hagler. And prior to the Hagler fight I see Mugabi stopping a Nigel Benn.

 

I wouldn't have put a penny on this either way, just made sure I didn't blink while I watched it.
