Donaire has proved to be overrated, however he seemed to be a top fighter at the time... Anyway defeating one top fighter and then a load of D level guys means its a weak resume overall.

He is overrated. He was supposed to be Pacs heir apparent.. People say yeah but he was never the same after ONE loss loll that's pathetic.. If he was as good as they made out one loss ruined him???? Give me a break.. Most overrated fighter of the past 5 years along with Broner. Pac came back after failing to beat 3 opponents and went onto be the most dynamic fighter of his era.. Donaire has turned inro a borderline journeyman

The Donaire win was a fantastic one- don't let the revisionism of people saying Donaire was overrated fool you- but he held back far too much in his followup fights. The Agbeko fight was atrocious. How you win matters in pro boxing, which was a foreign concept of what he (and the other Cuban stars) been schooled in from the time he laced them up.

I like the guy, but I can't adequately express how frustrating it was to see him hold back in fights where he could've really put a showcase on. That's the biggest difference between he and Loma- Loma shows more of the arsenal, and that's what people want to see out of its S-class talents. I sincerely wish Rigo had done that. It's one thing to fight like old Wlad if you've got the pro track record and fanbase of old Wlad, but it's a horrible way to build a fanbase that'll pay to watch you.

The fact that the 122lb version of Donaire was a long time ago, his P4P ranking is actually going down. He's on his way out of the Top 10 IMO if he continues like this for one more year.

Anyone who thinks Rigo's resume is terrible DKSAB. He'd wash Frampton, who's a beast, and rabidly ducked Rigo.

Frampton would take Rigo out of the game

Rigo hates boxing , he doesn't enjoy it you can tell by his miserable face, he doesn;t even want challenges, they were looking for an opponent... Jamie Mcdonnell agreed to step up and face him and Rigo went quiet, he totally ducked Mcdonnell

Completely different stlyes from Quigg, Frampton, LSC and Ill throw in Russell Jr.

All those guys would present a solid challenge and a different look for Rigo.

And even if it were loser talk, you could see prior to the Rigo fight that there was something about Donarie losing it's steam as he became nothing but a L hooker.

Not saying his L hook wasnt his money puncher or even his claim to fame, but in his preceeding and even post Rigo fights you can clearly see he's/he'd become completely reliant on it to win him fights.

The days of being a devastating combination puncher who would grind away inside until it landed were past him, and he looked soley to set it using timing vs Rigo and afterwards.

And we ALL know you aint timing Rigo with squat.
