He doesn't lack much, but I don't think he has any outstanding attributes that will see him beat the best. I think Selby would be too skilled for him, and I can't make much of a case for him against Frampton or Russell Jr. If Walters turns up he walks through him. Think you could say the same for Leo Santa Cruz as well. Lomachenko probably doesn't need mentioning... Hate being so negative about an unbeaten British fighter, but I reckon Hearn had a look at the featherweight landscape and decided against the investment. It makes more business sense for Frank though because he needs to put on a lot more decent fights now. Warrington will no doubt be involved in a lot more entertaining fights, even if he never cracks it at the very top. Selby alone will be a very tasty match-up, even if my money is going on the Welshman.
Agreed. Josh is in a pickle: Pulls in the crowds but is sandwiched between (and sharing a division) some elite talent.
Fr4nks buying the Leeds card. Its a night that is already set up for him and will make a good arena fight for one of fr4nks night for BT sports. Add another local in Nurse for chief support and thats the night covered. Smart move from Fr4nk imo
I would rather watch Warrington than lee selby...not saying he would beat selby. His lack of pop aside he is a very nice boxer. Power isn't everything....selby himself isn't a big puncher either....nor is bjs....
he's improved a lot, I really believe he has the beating of Selby who is overrated surprising announcement, Warrenn must have offered a lot more money.
Whats any other promoter going to do that Hearn hasn't done. If Warrington doesn't want to take the fights the that not Hearns fault.
He's boring and tedious to watch and has the personality of a wet fart. He also won't step up when offered the Selby fight. Eddie won't be losing too much sleep. Warrington is European level at best.
