Tyrone Nurse has signed a long-term deal with Frank Warren, after previously working with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom on his last few fights. Second fighter to leave Matchroom in as many days? Thoughts?
Decent signing for domestic level shows. Nurse has had a hell of a lot of fights considering he's only 26.
Yeah that is a decent signing for Warren, a British champ who has been involved in some good dust-ups in his last few outings!
Nurse is a good fighter. I know that he's at 140 for the time being, but I'd like to see Skeete v Nurse at some point.
I really enjoy watching this lad. He's quality to watch. I think the one thing that stops him from stepping beyond domestic level is he has the punching power of a 10 year old girl.
He was never really with matchroom. Well, not contracted anyway. But nonetheless a good signing for F Warren to kick things off with him and BT. Must add though, I do not think Tyrone Nurse will go very far.
Yup, I really like Nurse too. Silky smooth. I also think he's improved a lot since his last loss. I think he will moved into a world title shot at some point over the next 18 months although I think he is a little short of that level. I know he was offered the Porter fight 6 months ago.
