With all due respect the answer given was clearly B.S

I know old English is not that rich himself to let his son turn down that kind of money

    Eubanks related.

What do you all think about Jr being completely blanked by Hearn/Matchroom for Dec 10th?

Apparently Eubank Jr practically begged to be on the card and was pretty much turned down flat.

hes out in Dubai, with one arm, doing pads on a yacht with flip-flops...and i don't mean wearing flip-flops, hes using flip-flops as pads. so i think it was ridiculous to even ask

Eubank Snr means well, but i think Jnr obviously needs professional guidance. Otherwise his career will stay at a domestic level. Shame...

I read that twice. The first time I read it and thought "Oh right" then I read it again to make sure I got everything and thought...

Only in the world of the Eubanks when talking about them would Flip Flop pads sound completely normal :risas3:

Eubanks always been a peculiar bloke...but anyone else get the feeling the ring wars have taken a toll on him over the years. Seems to be getting odder. Tbf i cringe when i see people ridicule him. Theres no two ways about it this is a man that was an absolute warrior inside the ring year after year. Watched his fight against thompson the other day...you might not agree with what hes got to say...but it should be respected.

I cant decide between him maybe being punch drunk or a genius. Like what hes doing with junior in terms of work ethic/training etc. Not sure theres many out there nowadays that work harder or have that same kind of hunger. Just need to get decent fights that hes ready for. Forget golovkin etc even bjs for now. Bridge the gap between tom doran and these guys.

I have stated before I was a fan of Sr but DeGale would make Jr look ridiculous and a fit, focused and dedicated BJS would outbox and out fox Jr again, I think Saunders took Jr lightly before, underestimated him but if there is a next time I think Saunders would make sure he is on it.

Jr is British title level and has to be seen as such until he steps up and proves otherwise, anybody can all talk a great game but you have to prove it.

Jr's best opponent beat him, Saunders beat him, what has Jr done to suggest he is a genuine top level middleweight?

He has shown good stamina, solid chin and he has shown some grit against domestic level opposition but I think you need a little more than that if you are talking DeGale, Golovkin and even Saunders.

He was so much more dominant against O'Sullivan and Blackwell than BJS had been, with 10-, 20- and 30-punch combinations in each round, etc.

Again, what's the source of this interview? Or is it all made up (like the rest of them)?

And it was Eubank Jr underestimating BJS more than the other way round

Honestly see chris junior as a sleeper in the division atm. I think the next year or two if their sensible with him he ll come on leaps and bounds.

The problem with eubanks is one minute he can look genuine world class the next minute like an amatuer. Although hes flashy i m not sure how much talent he actually has...looks like hes getting by with what looks like extremely hard work in the gym. I still say its hard to say where he ll end up if thats british or world level.

Tbf to him there wasnt much between him and saunders in the fight...at the end of the day bjs is a world title holder...hes a good fighter Fight also came a bit too soon for chris...they need to up his competition sensibly now.

I still say his style would give golovkin a challenge of some sort at the weight more so than anyone else at the weight but for that to happen he has to improve 100 percent then some.

    Saunders shut O'Sullivan out.
