An average class.

 

Too many truly good and great boxers SHOULD be inducted, anyway!

 

Farhood deserves it. He was the best writher at KO and the Ring, after the publishers of KO bought it.

As an announcer, he is okay, but not elite. He was an elite writer.

I don't think Tapia really deserves it. Too many interruptions, and he basically missed his absolute prime. Danny Romero was probably his best victim, which indicates he didn't beat many elite guys.

Johnny Tapia over Donald Curry? NO

 

Tompkins?

Is Al Bernstein in there?, because he was better than Tompkins.

 

Well I'm glad Holy and Barrera are in two guys that deserve it and have been good ambassadors.
Tapia was borderline for me but I understand exposure and exciting fights goes a long way as it did with Gatti.

 

Peter Kane should have been voted in over Booker.

 

Holy and MAB deffo.

Never really got the hype with Tapia, plus the rivalry with Romero was always exaggerated.

 

I believe he's in due to the excitement factor, similar to the Arturo Gatti situation. I can understand it but then again, I'm biased as I'm a fan of his.

So you can be a serial cheater and steroid abuser and still get in. good to know.

 

Al is in the Hall of Fame. It's nice to see Barry go in, too. As a team, they were among my favorite announcers all time.
