Browne and Briggs are meant to be fighting for the vacant WBA regular title by the end of the year. The winner then to defend against Oquendo within 120 days.

Not sure how the negotiations for Browne vs Briggs are going though, and the end of the year is now only 6 weeks away.

Lucas Browne has problem. It is the false claim there. That point right there harms his credibility utterly.
Any FAN that goes along with that is under a misconception. Any administrator that involves contributes to the dimis of Boxing they contribute nothing.

Australian heavyweight boxer Lucas Browne has reportedly failed his second VADA-conducted drug test of the year, placing his WBA title fight with American Shannon Briggs in serious doubt.

ESPN's Dan Rafael reports that after testing positive for clenbuterol following a win against Ruslan Chagaev in March, Browne has now tested positive in Australia for a banned substance as part of the WBC's Clean Boxing Program, which Browne voluntarily enrolled in.

After his first failed test, Browne (24-0) claimed he did not voluntarily ingest weight control drug clenbutero but was suspended for six months and stripped of the title.

"We have been notified by VADA about Browne's adverse finding as he was tested under the CBP," WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman told ESPN. "He has been notified and the process is being attended as per the protocol."

Browne was scheduled to fight Briggs for the vacant WBA "regular" title by the end of the year. The WBA's "super" title is due to be contested by Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko early next year.

Boxer ought to be banned from Boxing Scene Internationally. Because of his tri-championship association. Him, Luis Oritz too. Jacobs/160. All of it is ill-seed to the whole of the Sport! I'm fan 50 years and I KNOW what I am looking at.
Crossover of boxing will cease to exist!
(Doesn't fool me what they are doing.....)
