Joseph Parker vs Andy Ruiz Jr. & Jeff Horn vs. Ali Funeka RBR.

Yep both guys are pretty good in the whiskers dept, neither did the chicken dance after eating some good shots unlike a couple of other World champs going around..

 

must have watched a different fight, no way Parker won that.

 

Don't get me wrong, Ruiz loves Burger King's 10 chicken nuggets for $1.49, but this mother****er is athletic!!! **** yeah!!

 

A somewhat smaller version of the buffet king!

 

I think Parker was too worried about stamina and didn't throw enough on the outside. If he had the confidence in himself to throw more on the outside he would've stopped Ruiz getting close as well, and he would've won a wider decision imo.

 

Molina gets starched, in 6 though he's improved but.. Joshua is too damn good for a guy Arreola stopped in 1!!

 

Would be a solid Cruiserweight or LHW if he lost the chub. Would probably find his power there. Wonder if he's ever sparred the good boy killer.

 

Parker lacks power imo, He doesn't have enough power to brake people down effectively, He IS however a good boxer but other than that i don't see him being able to hang with the likes of wilder,fury,AJ, etc, For me hes just a little better than dillian whyte. Infact i would love to see that fight dillian has improved recently i'd go as far to say thats a 50/50 fight.

 

You know what? Me too. I'm getting sick over here in the UK having to listen to Joshua love-ins 24/7, marking him down as a superstar, ATG-elect etc etc.

These Mexican american boxers all probably eat at the same burger places, Arreola/Molina/Ruiz all are 'good' fighters but their conditioning is just awful. They could have their own round robin who is the best fat American Mexican heavyweight.

 

Yeah. He's not a legit HW. his inability to shed the pounds keeps him there, but his optimal weightclass should be CW.

 

Not a great fight. But a very good contest between two very evenly matched guys who both came to win. I had it close and had my fingers crossed Parker would get the nod - and he did.
