Just talk is all. Hes all ready negotiating. Let me translate what he said: "Says that the rematch with Kovalev would have to make sense." Now by "make sense" he means "more money".
Although I think he won, he should rematch, get paid and then retire. Funny he's in a Froch/Groves predicament. Also given the reaction from the majority of people, I can see how he can be like fu ck the world and retire on all these people essentially saying f u c k you. I think he's not getting the credit he deserves as a whole for his career let alone this fight. GGG was given a pass for ducking him and people who don't know how to score fights are crying robbery. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he does want to retire.
This does not surprise me at all, SOB knows he lost to Kovalev, almost got knocked out, next time he will get seriously hurt!
He won a fight most think he lost. If he wants to retire that's his decision he should enjoy the fruits of his labor, but like Floyd, he won't get the credibility he thinks he deserves.
If he cannot get up for the kovalev rematch and possibly a fight with Stevenson, than I guess retirement is not such a bad idea. With what he had achieved in supermiddle weight, he deserves HOF consideration.
I think you mean Kovalev shouldn't retire after only 1 loss, seeing how he's the one that took the L lol.
I would retire too if I had my face beaten and was given a gift decision that the rest of the boxing community did not agree with.
What loss is that bro? Last time I checked he won a close fight against Kovalev and improved his record to 31-0!
Hope it's not true...but he may think he dodged a bullet after the Kovalev fight and time to retire unbeaten....
