C'mon man. The guy just wrecked his number 1 contender. Can the man get his props?? And NO ONE has beat Trout decisively. Trout is the same guy that made Canelo look average. Trout schooled the great Cotto.

Charlo is gonna make waves at 160 get ready

Lara outboxed Trout every round and dropped him once too actually.

Charlo was like 1-2 divisions above his opponent last fight, proves nothing.

Charlo is solid. He isn't amazing and I doubt he will be considered a boogeyman, but he is a solid fighter. He should look better at 160 than he does at 154 considering how much he drains himself to make weight. Thing is 160 has bigger punchers than 154 so that is going to be a huge factor. Very curious to see how he does there. I want him to fight Andrade before moving up though. I just want some matches involving Canelo, Andrade, and Jermall Charlo. Is he even better than his brother by the way? I remember thinking they were about equal, but I thought this before that eye surgery which seems to have improved his boxing by a bit.

Charlo looked good, but Williams looked really good too. The main difference between them: size. Jermall was just too big and strong for him. Looked like two weight classes between them. Mark my words though, J-Rock is not done, he can fight. Charlo obviously trains hard, and hits hard, he has an uphil climb against some really good fighters at 154 or moving up though.

The biggest punchers at 160 are GGG, Jacobs, Lemieux. Throw in Derevenchenko

Other than GGG I think Charlo could hang with the others

Anyone who looks as strong as that and has the skill to pull off such a KO move deserves some respect in my opinion?

Kid Chocolate and Curtis Stevens can also crack. Eubank Jr, Andy Lee. I'm still missing people.

Hang with is about right... it's early days yet but I think Jermall will make a good addition to MW and has the ability to be a solid top ten kinda guy. That said I think the political dimensions to this mean he's gonna have a real slow start, though there's a few names Uncle Al could match him with - Khurtsidze maybe, Quillin may still be relevant enough and Mora would make an OK introductory opponent.
