http://www.bbc.com/sport/boxing/38312527 Eddie Hearn saying talks are underway for Khan v Brook in May. If it comes off thats 3 huge fights in consecutive months (even though we know the outcome to Haye/Bellew) & we finally get the fight most Brits have wanted to see.
Most predictions i've seen are the same "either brook KO or Khan UD", if Khan sticks to a gameplan, doesn't get lazy or sloppy leaving his chin out on the way out or not getting his hands up quick enough, i agree, but just think he likes a fight too much and has too much ego to not try and fight at some point
If I was Khan I would go no wear near brook. You can only beat him if you knock him out, the GGG scorecards proved that.
At least your standing g by this billy that I respect But a pro trainer like your self backing a kid with average footwork very average defence minimal power dodgey whiskers and his out side life seems to be in turmoil. To beat brook lol I think the opposite from you but you hold more weight than me when it comes to knowing boxing right
Timing beats speed. Brook ko's Khan. Khan would start quick and then as per usual slow down and start leaving himself open. If this is the case Brook wouid vacate his belt when the Spence fight is called by the IBF.
Nope, I honestly don't think we will see this fight happen. Khan will price himself out and that will be the end of it.
Thing is, Khan can't stick to a game plan. It's not only his chin that's poor. He's just not very smart. Was lucky Canelo didn't spark him earlier when he was throwing 20-punch combos, dropping his hands, squaring up and leaving his chin hanging in the air. Brook KO for me.
Yeah I'm thinking that's a lot of ppv's in such a short space of time. Ramadan is late may to last week of June so your then looking at September. Brook can't wait till then. If Khan isn't May he needs to fight Spence.
Exactly how I see it and we would get the usual "I was winning/dominating before he caught me with a lucky punch" We had it with Garcia, Khan won the first 6 minutes and afterwards if you hadn't seen the fight and reading quotes from Khan himself, posts on places like here you would have believed Khan won 11 and a half rounds on the spin and was stopped the first time he was actually hit in a "British stoppage". Khan is delusional, I personally don't think he will fight Brook, he is just trying to generate interest in his name again, nobody really cares anymore, we've seen him dropped too often, it's got boring. I wouldn't be surprised to see him pop up on ITV PPV on a card with Eubank Jr.
