When do you see GGG-Canelo actually happening????

2018. GB is going to let GGG age and further damage his legacy fighting nobodies. The 10 million dollar offer is the best GGG is going to get. Bjs/Canelo is going to happen before the GGG fight.

 

Oscar has confirmed that Canelo has agreed to fight Golovkin in September 2017. If it is delayed into 2018 it is because of Golovkin's side is not ready to fight Canelo.

ROFLMAO There is no LESSER Competition than Pollo Canelo. Even his own countrymen disowned him called him a coward & named him El Pollo ROFL How in the hell can Canelo be Lineal Middleweight champ ?? He claims he is NOT a middleweight & that's why he ducked GGG & handed the WBC middleweight belt over to the MAN he is scared to fight Gennady Golovkin a REAL CHAMPION!!!!!!

How the hell can Canelo be Lineal Middleweight Champ?? Simple : Because Cotto beat the Man Sergio Martinez at Middleweight for the title, and then Canelo beat Cotto for the title. Duh.

If he is scared to fight Golovkin, then why is Oscar offering Golovkin the fight for September 2017? At 160, no catchweight, no nothin. The offer is on the table for Golovkin. What is he waiting for? Canelo's a REAL Champ at 154. Golovkin's a REAL Champ at 160. The smaller guy is offering to fight the larger guy at his weight. He's making Golovkin an offer I don't see how he could refuse. If Golovkin doesn't agree, then this Man is ducking Canelo Alvarez. The fact that Canelo Alvarez is the Lineal Middleweight Champion should make Golovkin need this fight if he wants to consider himself the Man at MW. Canelo Alvarez never handed Golovkin the MW title. The Title was stolen from him by the commisions, they gave him a ridiculous deadline right after the Khan fight to agree to terms that hugely benefitted Golovkin. What the commision did there was a joke, if they had any legitimacy they would have kept the title vacant and made Golovkin fight for it. Instead they literally forced Canelo to relinquish the title due to their own insecurities and just handed it over to Golovkin. Golovkin never won that title, he never beat the Man who Beat the Man and the 154-lb Champ is the Lineal Middleweight Champ. Golovkin needs Canelo to be the Man who Beat the Man who beat the Man in HIS division.

The contract is on the table. Time to Man up Golovkin and fight the Man or BE FOREVER KNOWN AS A DUCK and FOREVER KNOWN AS Not THE Middleweight Champ, only A MW Champ!!

 

It is all predicated upon when GGG starts looking vulnerable. If this shows up in his next fight then the fight could realistically happen by the end of 17'. If not then they could very easily put it off until 18' or even 19'. Promotional companies like GBP can easily set their own time tables and even rules especially when a manufactured cash cow with a huge ethnic fan base it at stake.

 

Ya. Or GBP could take their time with a 26 year old fighter who has already built a pretty solid resume, career and legacy?

As Ive mantained. Dont blame Canelo for being young and in his position. He doesnt need to fight Golovkin. He has many options. People are lining up to fight him from four different weight classes. It seems many are upset its not happening now because Golovkin isnt getting his way.

 

Why are you acting like GBP hasn't made an offer to Golovkin for September 2017? You're saying that GBP could delay the fight until '18 or '19 depending on when Golovkin starts looking vulnerable? First of all, Golovkin looked very vulnerable vs Kell Brook. Kell Brook a freakin welterweight not known for his power was standing toe to toe with Golovkin and landing bombs on Golovkin. Don't you remember, Golovkin looked unhealthy, sick and drained the week of the Brook fight. GBP doesn't want to wait until '18 or '19 like you all want to believe. Canelo and Oscar made a decsion to move up to 160 in 2017 to make this fight happen. They aren't waiting until Golovkin starts to look vulnerable. They made Golovkin an offer and are waiting for Golovkin to sign the contract.

 

He doesn't need to fight Golovkin, but the boxing fans have a thirst to see this fight. Canelo wants to make the biggest fights in boxing so Canelo has decided to move up to fight the bigger man. (for the fans, so they get to see the fight they want)

We should be praising Canelo, the smaller guy, for offering to move up a weight class and fight the bigger guy to give the fans the fight that they want to see.

 

I agree. I dont think Golovkin fanatics feel the same way. They feel like Canelo has been ducking this fight. Yet he is the smaller guy coming up and hes only 26 and already has a better legacy.

In fact, you would have had to review ALL THREE OFFERS to have a CLUE what Cocaine O$car is talking about.

We do know that GBP has thrown out all kinds of NONSENSE... starting with "155 Canelo Weight" etc & so forth.

We do KNOW that after a lot of "BLUSTER" Canelo meakly SURRENDERED THE BELT.

Unless/Until Canelo fights GGG... many fans will CONTINUE to consider that Canelo's a COWARD !!!

IMO... Canelo needs this fight more than GGG... but... O$car suspects Canelo will lose.
