    Renaldo Snipes
Fought well for the title, followed by poor run.Fought well v undefeated Biggs, then went on long winning run. Injury ended career when being considered to fight comeback Tyson post Douglas.

    Gary Mason.
Only loss to Lewis. World ranked 4 at one point. Lived in shadow of Bruno ?
Interested in people's opinions of these 2.

Bsides dropping Holmes i thought Snipes was extremely impressive against Berbick.

In recent times, Brewster is a guy that does not get much admiration. Every other hitter like a Tua/Sanders/Shavers/Ruddock/Smith and so on have supporters and there isn't and never really was a whole lot of support for Lamon Brewster.

Brewster is underrated for sure. His come from behind win against Luan Krasniqui was mesmerizing at times, and Luan had strung together an impressive resume before the bout.

I think on the basis of his best performances, Lou Nova is underrated, at least head-to-head.

I also think Hasim Rahman's career is largely overshadowed by his mid-career dip in discipline, which cost him fights against Tua (rematch), Holyfield, and Ruiz, and by a series of shambolic performances after losing the title to Oleg Maskaev. With different judging he could have taken the first Toney fight as well. His career resurgence to take the title deserves more credit than he gets for it.

Lorenzo Zanon: yeah, his chin shattered every time he stepped up, but until somone caught him clean this awkward Italian cutie gave people fits.

Holmes put him away, but looked bad doing it. Ken Norton did, too, but had to come from behind. Jerry Quarry finally broke through to stop him in nine but lost the first seven or eight rounds.

Zanon was better than fellow Italian challengers Lucien Rodriguez and Alfredo Evangelista. With a big bald spot and a clunky physique he looked more like a barber or a guy you'd see in a bowling league. He could only go as far as his chin would take him, but he never seemed to show poorly when venturing into the upper echelon.

speaking of Zanon---the guy with Lorenzo's physique was Robert Helinius. I thought that guy could be pretty good if he kept on developing. He didn't of course and he is not the type to bounce back from injury. But it goes to show these guys do not always continue to improve and that;s a big big assumption to be making.
they can reach their peak very early on in their way up & have reached their peak just reaching the top 10.

Hadn't thought about Zanon in years. He certaintly did give top fighters fits! His chin AND lack of punching power were his fatal flaws.

According to BoxRec, Zanon had just turned 26 when he fought Norton and was 28 when he fought Holmes.

I like Brewster a lot. Great left on him, and he was in some very memorable fights.

Floyd Patterson. His crushing defeats at the hands of Liston shouldn't overshadow his accomplishments anymore than Frazier's losses to Foreman. Floyd was great, not the greatest, but he was great.

Zanon was a very good boxer, but his chin and lack of power, he was fun to watch., but you knew what was coming.

Shazzon Bradley Not really overrated but he retired 21-0 with 17 KO's. I can't find any information. Did he get hurt, he did go to jail. Did he get pregnant?

Floyd patterson for sure when you are talking about h2h fantasy matches, in fact i think that the people would get surprised cause he would beat walcott and charles relatively easy and he would give marciano a hell of fight with his speed and power, rocky would go down once or twice for sure
