Great video rummy. I agree on all points you made here. He's definitely going to test Golovkin imo An Yours Obviously , and GGG gets full credit if he successful here from us anyways!

Jacobs, Lemieux, Murray + sheer domination against others.
That's what you call a resume.

Lemieux, Murray, Macklin, Geale, Ouma, Rubio were B's, Monroe, Proksa, Stevens, Ishida, Rosado are B-, Jacobs is a B+. So yeah, this is a step up. I think Jacobs' best chance is to be agressive and hope to find opening early in the fight. If he tries to box, he's getting annihilated.

I dont think Brook was a step back, much less a HUGE step back, he just jumped into fire too quickly.

A big WW, and having the best win in the modern WW division,(I know, Thurman got a gift vs Porter), and fought who would fight him.
The Brexit vote temporarily ruined the Brook Vargas fight, but we might get that yet at 154.

Wanna see Brook v Khan, then possibly Brook v Spence at 154 down the line if Brook can transition to LMW and become top 1-3.
Just dont see Spence hanging too long at WW, and Brook has the size and tools to move N and be even better than he was at WW.

Saying that though I think it is the biggest MW fight since Martinez/Pavlik and maybe Pavlik/Taylor in fact. Considering Martinez had multiple losses and was moving up weight I'd actually go with the latter one. Golovkin v Pirog was the biggy for me... Pissed it never happened. Incredible fighter.

Unwatchable. Rumsfeld is a black hole of boring observations.

    Please stop making these.

I think it was. Wade was a big step back from Lemieux, and I believe Brook was an even bigger step backwards from Wade in all honesty. But Jacobs is a big step forward, even though I suspect he will be significantly outclassed.

I maintain that Jacobs is the best guy Golovkin fought since Murray, if not during his entire career as a professional.

    Good video.

Jacobs is better than Murray, he is actually #2 at MW until Canelo moves up IMHO.

Also IMHO Brook was a little better than Wade (although I don't rate either win at all), honestly, because:
    - it was a bit more interesting
    - at least Brook had the skill to compete although not the power / chin. Wade had neither.

That being said, 2016 was a rubbish year from GGG's point of view. The best thing that happened was he got one more belt.

B + and B - guys? Every guy you named were D+ or C guys. I don't think you understand what a B level fighter is. A B level fighter is a fighter like Michael Moorer for a example. Good and could beat good fighters on his best days but not a all time great. Nobuhiro Ishida is 27 and 11. Ouma was washed up and clearly not a B level fighter at his prime. Stevens was only good at knocking out D level fighters and he never beat anybody worth mentioning . Maclin, Geale, Murray are all Euro fighters with cute records until you actually look at who they fought. Also none had any real poer. Lemiuex cute record but he only knocked out bms. Rosado isn't that good plain and simple a guy with a 23 and 10 record but he is B glass.

GGG is like a smaller Wlad. Faces people who aren't top level fighters to keep his 0 and his belt longer than he should of. Jacobs didn't really face much in his career either.

Lets see if Jacobs and bang against so called higher level opponents.
