Even Manny walked away with 100million give or take a few Benjamins.

You said it, 20-30 years ago. Boxing has changed quite a bit since Duran and Leonard squared off. All the sanctioning bodies especially the WBC have lost just about all credibility. Not saying they ever had very much, but the things they allow are almost criminal in certain cases.

I'm glad Cotto and Canelo through a big F you to the WBC.

 

I was Privileged to have been involved and seen the Golden Years of Boxing....1 Belt 1 Champion and if you wanted to be a World Champion the Controlling Bodies made the best Fights Possible for Fan's and Fighters.....Now day's it's Promoters and Fighters controlling who fights...To many F*cking Belt's and to many Diva's around at the moment and it is not Good for this once Great Sport....somehow someone has to get control back...but can not see it happening in the near Future.!!!!
