The Ring no longer has any credibility, just like it's owner Fishnets De la Hoya. The Transnational Boxing Rankings make much more sense.

    All ratings are subjective.
Easily influenced minds think the ring is the best because it calls itself the bible of boxing and starts talking about fictitional lineal etc.
I am not often taken by their ratings and feel some of the things they have out have been odd at times

Takam and Ruiz in the top 10. Also Hammer and Whyte in this ranking

tbr ratings are absolutely hysterical, and biased beyond belief, they also have povetkin number 1 at heavyweight and frampton top 8 p4p, have joe smith jr 3 it's probably someone like dan rafael running the site, just a fanboy with an opinion doing their ratings

The Ring have Wilder at #2 at HW, Ortiz at #4 and Joshua at #5.
Yet Joshua has beaten undefeated Whyte, undefeated champ and HW puncher Martin, undefeated puncher Breazeale as well as Molina which was arguably Wilders best win.
Pulev is rated behind Wilder when he has only lost to Wladimir which is a bigger step up than Wilder has taken yet and Pulev has beaten Chisora, Dimitrenko, Ustiniv

Martin is a bum, Breazeale is a bum. Only Joshua fans try to build these guys up to make it seem like he beat somebody. Hell Dillon Whyte is a bum too. Deontay has faced nothing but bums and Joshua has faced nothing but bums. But since most of the people here seem to be European they will give Joshua a pass because he lives in Europe. Wilder and Joshua are both hype jobs at the moment and even if AJ beats Wlad what would that prove? That he beat a glass chin pass his prime fighter that even at his peak wasn't all European boxing fans make him out to be?

It doesnt take a genius to know Parker is top 10. The ring or any other publication is usually a joke, one shouldnt need any form of criteria outside of common sense.

Joshua or Wlad should be number one regardless.

On average they are decent, but I think people consider ESPN and Transnational above them. I don't keep up too much with the rankings myself. I just checked Transnational for the first time and some of their placing seems silly, but it is still better than BoxRec.

They all have flaws, boxrec is slightly better than ring, which is slightly better than any of the orgs

Just knowledgeable opinions with a platform to display them. Your opinion is just as valid as theirs only people tend to trust theirs more because they are an established organization.
