Andre Ward on Kovalev acting like he lost

That's just it though it was a close fight so either camp gonna think they won irrespective of the decision which is why Wards comments come across as if he feels he's not getting the respect he deserves,I don't know to be honest why it should have a bearing on a potential rematch,if it was in Kovalevs contract and the fact that it was close then it should be nailed on as both are gonna make good money from each other?

 

Ward is mind fuking Kovalev right now. Kov. simply has to move on or it could ruin him mentally. And it'll especially ruin him mentally if he gets a 2nd fight and loses again to Ward. Ward is really really smart.

 

Ward is an ego maniac, hardly a douche bag.

 

Not everyone thinks it was a robbery, we don't witness any bribes, the ref wasn't biased and had no bearing on the outcome, the belt isn't being held hostage YET.

Well I'm glad that there's plenty who agree with this thread,I've just this minute seen a young guy on you tube called true school boxing and he speaks a lot of sense,first off about the fight he said Kovalev boxed beautifully against a guy who after being dropped he never knew if he was watching a boxing match or a college wrestling match and if t was anyone else and let's say an up and coming boxer we'd be ripping em to shreds for putting on a show like that,he also mentioned what Ward said about can everyone start acting like Ward won which is bizarre.
I've since rewatched that fight and if you put the wrestling s*** to one side since no boxing match was ever scored on wrestling,focus on the boxing and Kovalevs jab had Wards head bobbing back n forth the whole fight.
Another falsehood he came out with was that everyone expected him to lose when most folk and pundits nearly all had Ward as favourite.
I don't think Ward is in duck mode(love that saying)I just think he's trying for a better deal as his is right?

 

No maybe not,I think the ref started out ok but lost the plot when both were fouling each other,he should of warned both they were in a boxing match,no bribes just a classic hometown decision.

 

I'd pay good money to watch Ward get KTFO. He needs to get slept. It probably won't shut him up, but boy will it be gratifying.

Well...the ref did let Ward get away with a ton of low blows, rabbit punches, punches to the kidney, attempted headbutts, elbows, etc. The ref also let Kov get away with holding Ward's head, but a lot of that was to avoid the headbutt in the first place. You could very easily argue that the ref let Ward get away with much more than Kov, especially since he gave Kov a stern warning for the low blow that Kovalev did in response to Ward doing the same exact thing to him seconds prior. The ref had to of seen these things that were happening.

 

And let Ward **** his wife, and make his kids call Ward daddy, while he mows Ward's lawn.

 

Further proof Ward's too stupid to understand what a signed contract represents.

Even if Kovalev paints his car with the words "I was robbed" and goes on the talk show circuit about it, he still has a valid rematch clause.

And there's absolutely nothing Ward can do about it, except vacate like a thief.

No wonder Goosen lawyered up full throttle against this douche.

 

Apparently each fighter's respective promotions pays them. Ward needs to speak to his own people, not Kovalev.

 

Ward is a headbutting, cheating scumbag with a Glass Jaw who received a gift from corrupt officials. Forklift driver's son Kovalev humiliated him - even Stevie Wonder could see this.

He will duck a rematch. He has zero charisma and can barely fill a Community centre in Jokeland. Hopefully his career will end in ignominy by getting splattered out the ring by a club fighter a la fellow disgrace Hopkins
