evander holyfield- true ring warrior and never give up attitude with tons of talent to back it up.

marvin hagler- for the way he dominated the middlewgt scene for 6 and half years, sheer menacing intimidating look about him.

nigel benn- one of the most exciting boxers ever from the early days of loads of 1st round knockouts to the later world title campaigns, two weight world champ with ferocious power and never ducked anyone.

    currently its

    1) Linares - Accurate, picks people apart, barely ever gets hit flush, nice combinations, cool under pressure

    2) Pacquiao - everything. Speed, Power, Skills, Experience, and the insane resume to go with it.

    3) Donaire - Master counterpuncher, very smart fighter with slick skills, awesome speed and good pop.

Old school (by my standards lol) its

    1. MAB
    2. Hopkins
    3. Roy Jones

    1) Tyson - Explosive power, tremendous quickness, the fighter that got me into boxing, LEGEND TO ME.

    2) Peter - I had gotten out watching boxing for quite some time. I was watching showtime back in 03 and they had a feature clip of this badass heavyweight with power. I have been hooked on Peter since. I'm not a fan of the sweet science so to speak..... I like a fighter that can knock you the **** out!!!!!!

    3) Pavlik - Whiteboy with awesome power, blue collar type of guy

Ps. Really like Vic Darchinyan also:good

    Huge heavyweight fan

Cotto- love boxer-punchers. He epitomises one, great power and very good skills.

Pac- always exciting. It will be some time before someone does what he has, winning titles from fly to superfeather. Maybe lightweight aswell soon, hell even maybe jnr welter. Gotta love a fighter like that.

Montiel- Just enjoy watching this guy do what he does. Very versatile, can box beautifully or slug it out when he needs to.

    Alltime

Hearns- Physical beast with all time great skills. His one real weak point made him fun to watch aswell because you were on the edge of your seat.

Micheal Spinks- A fighter who just summed up boxing perfection. Big, fast, skilled, powerful, talented and a ring intelligence that had few equals.

    SRR- Boxing god.

Special mention to Duran, Ricardo Lopez, Kostya Tszyu, Too Sharp Johnson and Sandy Saddler.

    01. Manny Pacquiao: An ATG who has accomplished more than most fighters could ever dream of.. He has overcame the odds, has defeated Mexican legends in Barrera, Morales, and Marquez, he has won several titles in several divisions including 4 linear titles.. What is not to like about him? He's fearless and is willing to fight anyone and never gives up.. Everybody should like this guy.. He is simply one of the greatest fighters ever in my eyes..

    02. Miguel Cotto: Multiple skills, fearless, and a respected all around fighter.. Another fighter who does not back down and has the potential to dethrone Mayweather which seems no one else can.. He improves after every fight, is always confident, and he is just remarkable.. He is fighting very respected fighters and top contenders such as Judah, Mosley, Malignaggi, and many others and continues to as he prepares for his fight against Margarito..

    03. Arthur Abraham: I don't know what it is about this guy, but something just draws me to him.. Maybe it's because of his heart or it could be his sheer strength and power or it could be something else.. The first few times I saw him, I thought to myself, "This guy looks like he could do something." After he defeated Miranda, I was just amazed and drawn to him. Despite having his jaw broken in the fight, he continue to carry on in the fight and he won.. Most people would have thrown in the towel, especially against a guy who's capable of knocking you out in one punch.. Like I said, it's just something about this guy that makes me say, "wow." I can see Abraham sitting atop of the MW division with a victory over Pavlik in the near future.. King Arthur will prevail.. :)

I just posted my current top 3 fighters as of now, but I see people are adding their all-time/past fighters too, so I'll go ahead and list my favorite past fighters.. Pacquiao is all-time tho :)..

    01. Muhammad Ali: Simply because he is the greatest.. Talked so much **** and always backed it up.. Defeated the best in Liston, Frazier, Foreman, Patterson, Norton, Chuvalo, and many others. He is the definition of the sweet science. I'll say it again, because he is the greatest.

    02. Roberto Duran: Because he will **** you up. Great fighter in many weight classes and fought the best in Sugar Ray.

    03. Willie Pep: Will o' The Wisp, perhaps the greatest featherweight fighter of all time. Love watching his old clips. You just gotta' love the nickname too.
